Milkdrop Visualiser

ADDING WINAMP’S MILKDROP VISUALISER TO WORK WITH ANY SOUND SOURCE
Playing music using the standard audio codec file, (the mp3), started around 1997 and was more like a hobby, whereby music lovers would obtain mp3’s from online or by ripping CD’s. Back then Winamp was the go to media player for Windows.
Music visualisation is a feature found in Winamp and many other media players.
A visualiser will generate animated imagery based on the volume and beat of the piece of music being played.
The imagery is generated and rendered in real time and synchronized with the music.
Winamp’s main visualiser is Milkdrop, and was created by Ryan Geiss, and can be configured to be used with any sound source on a Windows PC.

Milkdrop For Windows 10

Hi, I'm trying to record some visuals displayed full screen, I've tried all possible sources, 'game source' seems to be the one that should be used, the running visualizer Winamp Milkdrop is listed in the 'application' menu drop down, I've also tried with [DWM] : Monitor Capture, but the movies recorded are all black whatever I try.
I read on this thread https://obsproject.com/forum/threads/obs-redux.7736/page-40#post-117620
that FrogDog had reported the issue on 6 jan, but I haven't found a reply to that.
